“Oh, Where Art Thou? Read, Here I Am, Of Sound and Vision, A New Page Turned!”

Or in plain terms- AIBM is growing with more music, and ... from now on.. ART!
From Threads of artist @jolocalityart : ” How are you welcoming the New Year? We are looking forward to cooking a curry and ginger parfit together, sharing a glass of champagne which was a wedding gift and enjoying a film.”

Recently AIBM held a call on “Threads” to find Europe based artists, musicians and filmmakers. A few have responded indeed, and we are beyond glad they did. One of the immediate consequences is making an additional page (Art) to host work by European Artists, and changing the layout and content of the music page. In the following weeks, we will be changing and filling both pages with content, and this will also have an effect on how the home-page page is layed-out as well.

But first, what do you do when you just want to get in touch with people all over Europe about that which they gladly spend many hours labouring over lovingly; to reach out and invite them to share- their music and art? Well, Thou…Start a “Thread”….

Threads

Unlike it’s gigantic and somewhat incomprehensible brother “X” f.k.a. Twitter, Threads is fast becoming a place where artists of all disciplines meet up, exchange ideas, thoughts, sentiment and more. It is, at least for the time being, a forum relatively clear of trolls and bots, and as such facilitates a more delicate and mindful participation of likeminded souls.

The Call

It was no surprise then, that the call asking for European artists/musicians to share their work and location in Europe- with us.. so that we may share it with others… was answered! For those who responded we promised to feature the artists on our website and there was no prerequisite other that sharing some of your work, and your location in the EU. As promised, so it shall be done!

In each case, as AIBM grows, so will our area of coverage, and we are extremely pleased to include covering European art to our portoflio of activities. And to answer the call of @jolocalityart on Threads who asked: “How are you welcoming the New Year? We are looking forward to cooking a curry and ginger parfit together, sharing a glass of champagne which was a wedding gift and enjoying a film.”

To this we say “We welcomed it by having Dutch Greaseballs (oliebollen) and aching stomachs the day after.. but now are very much working in this New Year, and honoring your answer to our call, and sharing Your Art!!
