Because there’s something about Bulgaria that pulls at me. Maybe it’s the way its landscape seems to stretch beyond the borders of time— ancient and modern ruins pressed against urban life, pressed against the endless sky. Wild forests skirting quiet villages, the Black Sea whispering at the edge of it all. But I think what truly calls me is the idea of a place that’s so beautiful, but not overly polished for tourists. Just… itself.

My plan is simple: One week. Just me, a camera, my notebook, good apetite, and an unhurried curiosity. No luxury hotels, no strict itinerary. I want to feel the country the way its people do. Eat what they eat, walk where they walk, listen to their stories, and find the places that don’t come neatly packaged in travel guides.

If Europe is a mosaic, then Bulgaria is one of those pieces you don’t notice at first. But when you do notice, it catches the light just right. And once you see it, you can’t look away.

Seven days. Seven places. And hopefully, something worth writing down.

Let’s see what we find.
